Kodi and Marsha’s journey began in 2019 at Disney in Tampa, Florida — a fitting place for two dreamers to cross paths. From day one, their connection was undeniable. For Marsha, one unforgettable memory stands out: “I remember standing outside Kodi’s car one night when he blasted ‘Love on Top’ by Beyoncé and asked me to dance. That was before he even asked me to be his girlfriend — and in that moment, I knew he was something magical.” For Kodi, it was a misty morning in Ireland that sealed the deal: “Taking Marsha across the pond for the first time was special. We set off to explore the Cliffs of Howth, and she was so in her element. It was then I realized she’d fallen in love with travel just as much as I had.” Since then, the two have traveled the globe — from the ruins of Mexico to the gardens of Japan, the cobblestone streets of England to the Christmas markets of Germany, with many more adventures to come (including a honeymoon in Greece!). Their shared passions include theme park days, Disney enchantment, and — thanks to Kodi — a growing affection for all things Pokémon. On May 7, 2024, Kodi proposed to Marsha in the serene beauty of Maruyama Park in Kyoto, Japan. They ended the night with a celebratory Wagyu dinner, filled with joy and the promise of forever. Inspired by their love for British culture and the elegance of the Victorian era, Kodi and Marsha are delighted to invite you to witness the next chapter of their love story. Carissa holds a one-of-a-kind place in this celebration—as the sister of the bride, she has a role no one else could ever fill. She’s funny, fiercely loyal, and endlessly protective—the kind of built-in best friend you can only be lucky enough to grow up with. From childhood memories to life’s biggest moments, Carissa has been there through it all. We’ve shared countless adventures together, especially at theme parks—and our annual tradition of screaming through Halloween Horror Nights is just one of the many things that makes our bond so special. There’s no one I’d rather have standing beside me on such a special day.

Zoe and I met through the groom back in 2019, when we all worked in the same place—but over time, she somehow became closer to me than to him. (I stole her!) In the six years since, our friendship has grown into something truly special. Whether we’re catching up or trading secrets like Lady Whistledown herself, Zoe always brings laughter, honesty, and heart. She’s the kind of friend everyone deserves: reliable, supportive, and always there when it matters most. I chose her as my Matron of Honor because I trust her completely, and I know she’ll bring the same love and care to this role that she brings to our friendship every day.

From being her Disney “mousekeeper” to becoming one of my dearest friends, Emily and I have shared a truly magical friendship since 2018. We have bonded over our love for all things Disney, but over the years, that connection has grown into a one-of-a-kind friendship built on loyalty, laughter, and unconditional support. Emily has stood by me through heartbreaks, major life changes, and everything in between—and when Kodi and I got engaged, her raw and emotional reaction reminded me just how deeply she cares. She is the definition of a true friend: someone with a heart full of love, unwavering kindness, and a spirit that makes every day brighter. I’m so grateful to have her by my side on one of the most important days of my life.

Alex and I have been friends since 2017—and yes, we also first met at the most magical of places… the Magic Kingdom Speedway gas station. Since then, he’s become one of the longest-standing friendships I’ve had since moving to Florida. Alex is the kind of person who can light up a room with his infectious laugh and keep everyone grounded with his honesty. He’s always there when it matters—whether he's offering life advice, telling it like it is, or being the designated driver after a Taylor Swift rave (hahaha!). Alex has stood the test of time in my life, and I’m so proud to have him standing by me on such a meaningful day.

Kodi met Xavier back in 2019 while working at Disney, and what started as a workplace friendship quickly grew into something deeper—especially when they became roommates during the pandemic. Through countless late-night conversations, philosophical debates, and shared moments of reflection, Xavier became one of Kodi’s most trusted friends. Their bond is rooted in authenticity, thoughtfulness, and a mutual challenge to become better men. Kodi chose Xavier as his Best Man because of the lasting impact he’s had on his life—encouraging him to reflect on who he is and who he wants to become. Xavier is not only a supportive friend to both Kodi and Marsha, but someone who brings joy, laughter, and a thoughtful light wherever he goes.

Kacey isn’t just Kodi’s sister—she’s been his lifelong teammate, confidante, and first best friend. From summers filled with Star Wars marathons and Rocky replays to cheering each other on at games, dance recitals, and show choir performances, their bond has always been something special. She’s tolerated his endless sound effects on car rides (a true act of sibling love!) and never hesitates to say what he needs to hear—always with his best interest at heart. When Kacey and Kodi are together, it’s the kind of fun and connection that simply can’t be recreated with anyone else. She’s been there through every phase of life, and Kodi couldn’t imagine his wedding day without the person who knows him best by his side.

David is Marsha’s uncle, but over the past four years, he and Kodi have formed a genuinely special bond. From their very first meeting, they clicked over shared interests—especially their mutual love for sports and unwavering loyalty to the Dallas Cowboys. David’s fun-loving nature is unforgettable (just ask anyone who witnessed the two of them roaming a cruise ship with giant Hulk fists that held their beers). Whether they’re enjoying a cigar or having a good conversation about life, David brings humor, heart, and wisdom to every interaction. Kodi deeply admires David’s dedication to his family and the joyful way he lives his life—qualities he hopes to carry into his own marriage. Kodi is truly grateful to have David as part of this special day—and yes, the sombrero from Mexico is non-negotiable!

Though Kodi and Kayla have only known each other a little over a year, their friendship feels like it’s spanned a lifetime. Kodi admires Kayla’s drive and determination—she’s a true go-getter who never backs down from a challenge. Her kindness and ability to connect with others effortlessly makes her someone everyone wants to be around. What makes their bond even more unique is their shared love for backyard pyrotechnics—Kodi and Kayla are the daredevils of the group, happily blowing things up while their partners nervously watch from a safe distance. Their quick but meaningful friendship has been a source of support through many life changes, and having Kayla by his side on this special day is something Kodi truly values.
